Florida Track Days is bringing riders to Homestead-Miami Speedway for a full day on the 2.2-mile, 13-turn road course, with groups ranging from beginner to advanced and professional instruction available. It is another reminder that the Speedway stays active well beyond the big NASCAR weekends, bringing riders, instructors and support crews into Homestead while giving motorcyclists a controlled place to sharpen their skills away from public roads.

If you ride, check the available groups, gear requirements, motorcycle prep rules, fees and remaining space before heading over, and use the organizer's Gate 18 directions. If you are simply curious and want to watch, confirm spectator access first because regular grandstand or walk-up admission should not be assumed.

An Everglades Campground Job Comes With a Housing Option

A fresh job lead could put a South Dade applicant inside the visitor economy instead of behind another retail counter. Flamingo Adventures posted a campground attendant opening on September 22 for work in Everglades National Park, with no experience required and a listed starting wage of $14 an hour. Seasonal housing is available, which could make the role more practical for some applicants, although the listing says RV spaces with full hookups are limited.
