The City of Homestead is asking residents to weigh in on future spending priorities through its new Community Budget Survey. The feedback will help guide future investments in city services, neighborhoods, parks, infrastructure, and more. If you live in Homestead, now is your chance to have your voice heard.

The City of Homestead will host a FIFA World Cup Final Fan Zone at Losner Park on July 19, featuring live entertainment, food vendors, family activities, and a community watch party. Whether you’re supporting your country, your favorite team, or just looking for a great place to celebrate with friends and family—Homestead is where the community comes together.

Losner Park is located at 104 N. Krome Avenue, Homestead, FL 33030.

Construction continues on improvements at Krome Avenue and Flagler Avenue, helping improve traffic flow and safety throughout the area.

This project includes the replacement and upgrade of water and sewer mains along Krome and Flagler Ave, as well as significant improvements to drainage system, roadway safety, and transit infrastructure. Enhancements will include updated sidewalks, lighting, landscaping, pavement markings, signalization, and the addition of bus shelters to improve accessibility and overall mobility in the area.

The project will take place in the following areas:

A new feature highlights the Microbiology Girls Club at Miami Dade College's Homestead Campus, where middle and high school students are gaining hands-on science experience while exploring STEM careers.
